Our message for a healthy holiday this Christmas

Every year, our supporters help us make Christmas really special for our patients and families at our Children's Hospital with donations and special events and activities.

This year though, we'll be making an important change and joining other children's hospitals in no longer accepting gifts of confectionery, sweets and chocolates for our patients.

We're not banning it from the hospital, but we are asking anyone who was thinking of making a confectionery donation to help us do our bit in supporting parents and carers in the choices they're making for their children.

To get the full story watch our video below where our Consultant in Public Health Medicine, Dr Chris Chiswell explains more about our decision.

For ideas and inspiration on how to support us this Christmas please see our Moments of Magic campaign on our fundraising website.
