Mr Mark Sheldon Lloyd
Consultant Plastic and Autologous Ear Reconstruction Surgeon
Mr Lloyd graduated from Southampton University in 1997 and went on to complete his basic and higher surgical training in London. His passion for treating children with facial differences was discovered after training at Great Ormond Street where he learnt ear reconstruction and remodelling of the skull of babies born with craniosynostosis.
His training in Craniofacial Surgery continued at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and he completed his first Fellowship at Birmingham Children’s Hospital in 2014 before moving to complete his second Fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital, Houston, USA. Additional training in ear reconstruction was gained at the St Joseph’s Hospital, Toronto, Canada and at the George Bizet Clinic in Paris and at Aintree Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Liverpool.
