Healthcare Scientist

Gina is a Healthcare Scientist working in Neurophysiology. Her job is to investigate disorders of the nervous system through diagnostic testing including Electroencephalogram (EEG), Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) and Evoked Potentials (EP).

As a department, we specialise mainly in the investigation and diagnosis of epilepsy using EEG to manage seizure detection and control. We utilise electrophysiological techniques to improve the quality of life of children with epilepsy.
